About the Comic

Cectic is the user manual for your brain, in comic-form. It was originally published every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, but real-life interceded, and as of November 2008 was only published (approximately) once every few weeks on Sundays. On January 24, 2009, Rudis announced that Cectic had come to an end.

Cectic is for skeptics. If you're not amused, try Chick Publications, or Dan's Pulpit (sent to me by a reader who referred to it as the Anti-Cectic).

About the Translations

All translated comics are created by fans of Cectic. Here is a list of the current contributors:

If you have translated any Cectic comics to another language, or wish to do so, please let me know so that I can put them up on the site!

Can I Put Cectic In My Publication/Powerpoint Lecture/Website/Forum/White Room/etc.?

Yes. Since the comic's run ended in January 2009, the license has been retroactively opened on all Cectic comics to allow anyone to use the comics for any reason they wish (commercial or otherwise). This applies to the original English comics (both standard and high resolution versions) only—the translations are still covered by the original Noncommercial license, and you should contact the author of those translations before using their work.

See the Creative Commons License link at the bottom of each comic's page on this site for more information.
